The official date for the Women’s Handball European Championship in Budapest, is August 7, 2024.
The 2024 women’s handball season promises exciting and eventful matches both domestically and internationally. One of the highlights of the year is the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, where the world’s best women’s handball teams will compete for the gold medal. The Hungarian national team is also entering the tournament with high hopes, aiming for the best possible placement and a chance at a medal.
Among the international club competitions, the Champions League stands out, where Europe’s top teams compete against each other. Hungarian clubs such as Győri Audi ETO KC and FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria are also among the elite, aiming to reach the Final Four and achieve the best possible result there.
